About Hole — 3D Browser Game

Free 3D hole game in your browser. Drive a hole through a procedural town swallowing flowers, lamp-posts, wagons and finally entire houses. Pure arcade — 2 minutes per round, score as much mass as possible. No ads, no sign-up.

How to play

  1. Move your hole with arrow keys, WASD, or by dragging your finger on the canvas. The hole always sits on the ground and follows your input direction; release to stop. The camera tracks the hole at a fixed top-down tilt so you can see what's nearby.
  2. Position the hole under any item small enough to be eaten — flowers, mushrooms, fences, barrels are tier-1 starters. The item falls in with a satisfying drop animation, you score points, and the XP bar at the top fills.
  3. When the XP bar fills, the hole grows one tier larger and the next class of items becomes edible. Tier 2 unlocks lamp-posts and signposts, tier 3 wagons and market stalls, tier 4 houses, tier 5 the giant tree at the centre of the map.
  4. Items you can't eat yet act as obstacles — they block your path. Use them as landmarks: a wagon you can't eat now becomes a 50-point snack two tiers later.
  5. The round runs for 2 minutes. Your final score is the total mass eaten plus any time bonus. Beat your local best score (saved in your browser) to climb your own leaderboard.
  6. Strategy: don't chase one big item across the map — sweep small items in a spiral around your spawn first to grow fast, then commit to a path through medium items, then swing around for the big buildings near the end.
  7. Spacebar pauses on desktop. The pause overlay also works as a quick rules refresher mid-round.
