About Scene Creator for Kids

Free scene creator for kids — drag stickers and decorations onto themed backgrounds to build visual stories. Creative art tool for ages 3-8. No ads, no sign-up needed.

How to use

1. Pick a scene from the bar at the bottom — Farm, Ocean, Forest, Space, City, Beach, or Snow. Each has a hand-painted gradient backdrop (sky-grass for Farm, water-sand-water for Beach) so the stage already looks like somewhere before any stamps go down.
2. Pick a category from the row above the stamp palette — Animals (18 emoji), People, Nature, Buildings, Vehicles, or Food. Switching categories swaps the palette without losing what's already on the stage.
3. Tap a stamp in the palette to select it, then tap anywhere on the stage to place it. Stamps default to medium size; the scene auto-tracks the count at the bottom ("7 stamps placed").
4. Tap a placed stamp to select it, then use the + and − buttons in the toolbar to grow or shrink, ↔ to flip horizontally, and 🗑 to delete just that one. Drag a selected stamp to reposition without removing it.
5. Try storytelling combos: Farm + 3 cows + 1 farmer + 1 sun + 1 cloud = a working farm. Space + 4 stars + 1 rocket + 1 alien = a launch scene. The fixed gradient backgrounds force composition decisions (sky vs. ground) that build the visual literacy kids need for picture-book reading.
6. Undo (↩) reverses the last action; Clear wipes the whole stage. Since artwork lives only in the browser, take a screenshot to save — phones do this with Power+Volume, computers with Print Screen or Snipping Tool.
7. Scene-building exercises spatial composition, sequencing ("first place the ground, then the trees, then the people"), and the early storytelling vocabulary that drives kindergarten writing. Encourage kids to narrate the scene aloud while they build.
