About Connect the Dots

Free connect-the-dots for kids — follow numbered dots in order to reveal hidden pictures. Practice counting and number sequence skills. Ages 3-7. No ads, no sign-up.

How to use

  1. Pick a difficulty from the dropdown: Easy (5 pictures with 7-12 dots — Star, House, Heart, Diamond, Arrow), Medium (Cat, Fish, Rocket with 16-19 dots), or Hard (full 27-31-dot pictures). Start younger kids on Easy until they can count past 10 confidently.
  2. Find dot number 1 (it's highlighted in green at the start) and tap it. The current target dot pulses gently so a child who lost their place can find it again at a glance.
  3. Tap each numbered dot in order. The line draws itself between dots as you connect them, and a soft tone plays on every correct hit so kids get audio confirmation without parents having to hover.
  4. If you tap the wrong dot, that dot shakes and a buzz tone plays — no penalty, just try the right number next. The progress chip at the top reads "Dot X of Y" so kids know how close they are to the picture being revealed.
  5. Finish the last dot and the picture fills with color and confetti rains down. Tap Next Picture to go to a new outline within the same difficulty, or change the dropdown to step up.
  6. Restart redoes the current picture from dot 1 — useful when a younger child wants to repeat the same image to lock in the number sequence (a recommended practice for ages 3-5 still mastering counting).
  7. Connect-the-dots cements 1-to-1 number sequence, fine motor precision, and the early left-to-right tracking that reading depends on. Two short sessions a day (5-7 min each) work better for this age group than one long block.
