How to use

1. Each player starts with seven cards (or five if more than two are playing). The top card from the remaining deck is flipped face-up to start the discard pile. Recommended for ages 5-10 — Crazy Eights is one of the simplest matching card games and is the rule-set Uno is based on.
2. On your turn, play one card from your hand that matches the top card by either suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades) or rank (the number or face). Tap a card in your hand to play it.
3. Eights are wild — play one any time, then choose any of the four suits for the next player to match. This is where the game gets its name and where strategy kicks in.
4. If you can't play, draw from the stock pile. The game lets you draw one card per turn (standard rules); some house variants make players keep drawing until they get a match — toggle that in settings if you prefer.
5. Be the first to empty your hand to win the round. The game tallies points from cards left in opponents' hands (8s = 50, face cards = 10, others = face value) so kids learn quick mental addition.
6. Strategy hint: save your eights for when you're stuck rather than playing them early — and watch what suits opponents struggle with so you can call those when you do play an eight.
