Invoicing & Estimates

Invoicing that fills
itself in.

Pick the customer, the line items pull from the job, and the right tax for their province is already there. One tap sends a branded PDF — and last week's estimate converts without re-typing a thing. Built for the way a small Canadian business actually invoices.

2
Add the work
Line items pull from your services catalog or a linked job. Quantities, rates, and subtotals calculate as you type.

Send & get paid
One tap emails a branded PDF with your logo and bank details attached. Status flips from sent → viewed → paid automatically.

Every invoicing job handled, end to end

From the estimate you send on Monday to the invoice that gets paid on Friday — these are the flows that run your billing cycle.

Estimate converts to invoice in one click
Send an estimate, customer approves, you tap "Convert." The invoice is pre-filled with the same line items, customer, and tax rate. No re-entry. The estimate status updates to "Accepted" and the invoice goes out in the same action.
Province-correct GST/HST auto-filled
ON is 13% HST, AB is 5% GST, QC is GST + QST. All 13 rates are baked in. Set the customer's province once — the right tax applies to every invoice forever after.
Branded PDF with bank details auto-attached
Your business logo, name, and e-Transfer or bank info are on every invoice the moment it's sent — no manual editing each time. Customers get what they need to pay you, formatted like a real business sent it.
Status tracking: sent, viewed, partial, paid, overdue
Know exactly where every invoice stands without chasing emails. Dashboard shows what's been sent, what's been opened, what's partially paid, and what's overdue — at a glance.
Bill a whole customer in one click
Unbilled time and materials from every open job total up right on the customer's card — "ready to invoice across 4 jobs." One tap rolls it all into a single invoice. No hunting job to job.
Customer auto-fill from your contact list
Type three letters, pick the customer. Name, address, province, and email are filled in. Invoice history and outstanding balance are right there so you always know where the account stands before you send.
Partial payments tracked on the invoice
Customer pays a deposit? Record it against the invoice. Status flips to "Partial" and the remaining balance is tracked. No off-book sticky-note tracking required.

Invoicing questions answered

Does it calculate GST/HST automatically?
Yes — and it uses the correct rate for the customer's province, not a one-size-fits-all preset. Ontario customers get 13% HST. Alberta gets 5% GST only. Quebec gets GST + QST at 14.975% total. British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba get GST + PST with the right split so you can see what's recoverable as ITC. All 13 rates are baked in and stay current. You set the province on the customer record once; every invoice after that is already correct.
Can I send estimates that convert to invoices?
Yes. Estimates and invoices are first-class documents in the app — same line-item format, same customer auto-fill, same branded PDF. When a customer approves an estimate, you tap "Convert to Invoice" and everything carries over: line items, customer, tax rate, and any notes. The estimate status updates to "Accepted" and your invoice goes out in the same step. No copy-paste, no re-entry.
Can clients pay online?
The app doesn't process payments directly — it's designed for the way most Canadian small businesses actually get paid: e-Transfer, bank transfer, cheque, or cash. Your banking details (institution, transit, account number, or just your e-Transfer email) are attached to every invoice PDF automatically, so customers have everything they need without you typing it each time. If online card payments become a priority, that's on the roadmap.
Does the invoice show my logo and bank details?
Yes. You add your business logo and payment details in Settings once. From that point on, every invoice PDF that goes out has your logo in the header, your business name and address, and your payment information at the bottom — formatted to look like a real business sent it, not a free Word template from 2009.
Is it CRA-compliant?
Our invoices include the required elements under the Excise Tax Act: supplier name and address, invoice date, description of supply, total amount before and after tax, and the GST/HST registration number field (you fill this in once during setup). We always recommend having your accountant confirm your specific setup, but the format is designed to meet CRA's requirements for a tax invoice. Estimates are non-taxable quotes so they don't have the same requirements — they convert cleanly to compliant invoices when approved.
Can I track which invoices are overdue?
Yes. The invoice list shows status badges — Draft, Sent, Viewed, Partial, Paid, Overdue — and a sent invoice flips to Overdue on its own once it's past the due date, so you can see at a glance what needs attention. The dashboard surfaces your total outstanding (accounts receivable) and what's overdue right at the top, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Can I attach invoices to specific jobs or projects?
Yes — Business Pro includes full job tracking. You create a job, log time and materials against it, and when it's time to bill, the invoice pre-fills from the job's billable items. Billable expenses you've tagged to a job also roll onto the invoice automatically. This is the flow if you're running multiple jobs at once and need to know exactly what to bill each customer at close-out.
Do I need a credit card to try this?
No. The trial is granted the moment you sign up — no credit card, no "Start Trial" button to find. You get full invoicing access. The trial counts revenue-realization moments: 10 invoices sent (Business) or 15 (Business Pro). Estimates are always unlimited — so you can quote jobs through the whole trial without touching your limit. After the trial you can subscribe or drop to the free tier with your data intact.

Send your first invoice in under five minutes.

No credit card. Unlimited estimates from day one. 10 invoices in the trial — the ones that matter most. Cancel anytime.
