About Bingo Card Generator
Generate bingo cards instantly — classic 75-ball numbered or custom word/theme cards. Print as many unique cards as you need. Free, no sign-up.
How to use
- Pick Numbers mode for classic 75-ball bingo (B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60, O 61–75) or Words mode for themed cards using your own list.
- In Words mode, type or paste your terms one per line. You need at least 24 unique entries for a 5×5 grid with FREE center (or 25 if you uncheck FREE). 30+ entries gives more variety across cards.
- Set the title (it appears as the header on every card) and how many cards to generate. The tool can produce up to 100 unique cards per batch — every one randomly arranged so no two are identical.
- Adjust 'Cards per row' to control print layout — 1 column for full-page cards, 2 for half-page, 3-4 for small group cards. Useful for classrooms or large parties.
- Click Generate to create the cards, then Print all to send everything to your printer. The print stylesheet hides controls and lays out cards cleanly across pages.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between numbered and word bingo?
Numbered (75-ball) bingo is the classic version where the caller draws balls and players mark off numbers. The 5 columns map to BINGO letters and each column has a fixed number range. Word bingo uses themed terms instead — you might play 'office buzzwords bingo' during meetings, 'holiday bingo' at a family gathering, 'reading bingo' in a classroom (genres or book titles), or wedding bingo (ceremony moments). Word bingo is a great icebreaker because callers describe the term instead of just shouting numbers.
How many bingo cards can I generate at once?
Up to 100 cards per batch. Each card is randomly arranged so duplicates are extremely rare — for word cards with 30+ unique terms, the chance of two identical cards is essentially zero. For numbered cards, the column-based randomization gives roughly 552 quintillion possible cards (5! arrangements × 15-pick-5 per column⁵), so 100 unique cards in a batch is guaranteed.
Can I save my custom word list?
The tool doesn't currently save lists between sessions, but you can keep your word list in a notes app and paste it in each time. The default list is 'Cozy Fall' themed — feel free to use it as a template for the line format (one entry per line, blank lines ignored, duplicates auto-removed).
Why do my cards have a FREE square in the middle?
Tradition. Classic American bingo includes a free center square so players have a head start toward bingo (a center column or diagonal can win in 4 marks instead of 5). You can uncheck 'Center cell is FREE' if you want all 25 cells to require marking — useful for very long word lists or longer game time.
Will the cards print well?
Yes. The print stylesheet hides the form controls and renders each card with thick borders for clean cutting. The default 5×5 grid uses square cells with auto-sized text. For long phrases, the cells use smaller font with word wrap so 'Maple syrup' fits without overflow. Use 1 card per row for full-page printing or 2-4 per row for compact group cards.
