Free narrative math stories for ages 4-8. Characters like Mia, Leo, and Sam introduce math concepts through picture-book adventures — no reading required. Ontario and Common Core aligned.
How to use
- Choose a story from the list — your skill level helps pick the right one.
- Listen as the narrator tells the story. Words light up as they are read.
- When a character needs help, answer the picture question that pops up.
- Tap the speaker icon on any line to hear it again.
- Tap the skip arrow to jump past the narration if you already know the story.
- Finish the story to see the celebration screen — then choose another story or go practice!
Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to read to do Story Mode?
No — every word is narrated aloud and all questions can be answered from pictures. Perfect for ages 4 and up, including pre-readers.
What if they get a question wrong?
No penalty. The character says something warm, a hint appears, and they get one more try. Story always continues.
How long does a story take?
4-7 minutes each. Short enough for young attention spans. No forced stopping point.
Is there a score or grade?
No score visible anywhere. Only a 'you helped the character!' completion message.
